One of the main goals of the Foundation is to provide education and training for graduates, entrepreneurs, managers, professionals, officials and managers of public institutions.
The teaching programmes include different types of courses to meet the need for lifelong learning that addresses contemporary issues by means of innovative teaching methods and an interdisciplinary approach.
The advanced academic programmes and lifelong learning courses are designed by a teaching faculty consisting of the researchers of the Foundation together with professors with an international reputation who are members of the Academic Advisory Board of the Marco Biagi Foundation. They are supported by teaching staff from both academic and non-academic backgrounds and external experts.
As an autonomous body and as the entity responsible for civil and public engagement at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, over time the Foundation has developed a wide range of services in support of postgraduate education and training activities (masters’ programmes, specialisation courses, Summer and Winter Schools) promoted by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, ensuring coordination from the planning stage onwards in order to create around each training course the synergies that can facilitate the start-up phase and implementation, along with positive educational and employment outcomes and sustainability over time.
The executive master courses and advanced training courses are characterised by an innovative teaching methodology and thematic contents addressed to managers, professionals, officials and managers of public and private bodies who are interested in professional development and to all those who by virtue of their professional role need to be constantly updated on the changes and transformations affecting the world of work.
This innovative teaching methodology takes into account the need not only to strengthen specific functional skills and to develop theoretical knowledge, but also to improve the use of professional tools and behaviour.
