RESEARCH

The Marco Biagi Foundation promotes national and international research in the field of labour law by setting up partnerships with enterprises and institutions (at national and local level), taking part in calls for research projects funded by pubblic and private bodies, and carrying out the planning, coordination and management of research projects.

The main areas of research:

• LABOUR LAW AND INDUSTRIALRELATIONS: the organisation and regulation of the labour market; trade union relations and collecttive bargaining; the regulation of public and private employment contracts;
• WORK ORGANISATION: models relating to organisationalstructures, and individual and group behaviour in companies;
• LABOUR ECONOMICS: supply and demand for labour; labour market equilibria; pay structures; mobility and employment.

The Foundation aims to bring together the academic community and the economic and productive world, providing access to the academic resources of the University and serving as a meeting point between academic researchers and industry and society as a whole.
